Privacy

Effective date: October 28, 2026

This policy explains how Sea Smoke handles information when you visit our website, ask to hear from us or contact us.

Information you choose to share

Email registration is not currently available. If we open registration and you join our email list, we use your email address to send occasional notes from Sea Smoke. We record your signup date, the version of the consent wording you accepted, your confirmation that you are 21 or older and your subscription status. The age confirmation is self-attestation; we do not ask for a birth date or identity document.

When you contact us, we receive your email address and the information in your message. We use it to respond and handle your request.

Website analytics

On seasmoke.us, we use Google Analytics only when you enable it to understand how visitors find and interact with Sea Smoke and improve the website's content and usability. Analytics may include pages visited, selected website interactions, referring sources, browser and device information, approximate geographic information, and cookies or similar identifiers.

Analytics is off by default. There is no popup; you can make or change your choice below. We do not send signup email addresses or message contents to Google Analytics, and we do not use it for advertising personalization or remarketing. Google processes analytics information under its own terms; see Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from websites.

Your privacy choices

You can allow or decline optional analytics without affecting access to the website. We remember this choice on your browser for up to six months. You can change it here at any time.

Optional analytics stays off until you enable it above.

Browser signals and third-party tracking

The website does not automatically respond to browser Do Not Track signals. Optional analytics follows the preference you set on this page. We do not use advertising trackers, remarketing tags or embedded social-media tracking tools. If you enable analytics, Google processes information about your visits as described above. Following a link to another website takes you to that provider's separate privacy practices.

How information is used and shared

We use information to manage requested emails, respond to correspondence, improve the website, and protect our services from abuse. Providers that host the website, process registrations, store information or deliver email may handle information for those purposes. Where these services are used, Cloudflare provides website and registration services and Google provides optional analytics.

When registration is available, we use temporary identifiers derived from IP addresses to limit abusive signup attempts. Raw IP addresses are not stored in the subscriber database. Expired abuse-prevention records are removed when subsequent signup requests are processed.

Service providers may process technical request information to operate and protect their services. Links to Instagram and TikTok take you to services governed by their own privacy policies. The website does not include advertising trackers or a feature that sells subscriber information.

Retention, removal and unsubscribing

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here and applicable legal obligations. You can ask to stop emails, correct your information or remove your subscriber record by contacting hello@seasmoke.us. Emails from Sea Smoke will include a way to unsubscribe. Limited information may be retained where needed to honor an opt-out or meet a legal obligation.

For privacy requests, we may ask for enough information to confirm that the request concerns your own record. Available rights can depend on where you live.

Protecting information

We use reasonable safeguards and limit access to people and service providers who need it. No online service can guarantee complete security. Please avoid sending sensitive information that we do not need.

Changes and contact

We will post revised policies on this page with a new effective date. For material changes, we will provide a prominent website notice or notify you directly where appropriate before the changes take effect. Where required, we will seek fresh consent. For questions or privacy requests, email hello@seasmoke.us.
